2018 Dermott Unofficial Mid-Term Election Results: The election results are in. The Dermott Police Department would like to say “thank you” to the citizens of Dermott. There were zero accidents, injuries, or incidents around the polling station. Safety is always our #1 priority!

Its November 6th! Voting Day! While you’re out voting, please be mindful of the car and foot traffic on N. Main and Peddicord St. Pedestrians will be walking across the street and an increased amount of car traffic. Also, volunteers will be out campaigning. Adhere to all traffic signs and proceed at a lower speed if necessary. The Police Departments would like for this to be a safe election for everyone!

Reminder.... Daylight saving time ends on the first Sunday in November, when clocks are moved back an hour at 2 a.m. local daylight time (so they will then read 1 a.m. local standard time).

It’s that time again! Can you believe it’s the 4th year! Woooow!! It is! 🎁 Today is the official kick off day for receiving donations. No donation is ever to small! Thank you in advance.

“Trunk or Treat” will be happening tomorrow at the Armory from 5pm - 8 pm. There will be tables, instead of trunks, to decorate! Thanks to Mr. Henry for allowing the use of the armory and the citizens who helped to find found a solution! We all do it for the kids!

Condolences ... Dermott Police Dept would like to send our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Councilman Curtis Graham. He served the City of Dermott with euthiasiam, integrity, and commitment to the citizens. Thank you deeply for your service. Councilman Graham’s funeral will be held today at 10 am at the Dermott High School Gym.

Refrain from bringing large bags (or purses), food, weapons, or anything that would be deemed a safety concern in or around the courtroom.
