Today we invited the 11 children who were selected for our Back to School Shop with A Cop program to the police department for breakfast. They were served doughnuts, of course, and juice. After introducing them to our new School Resource Officer, Rose Weathers, we loaded the children into our patrol cars and took them to Walmart and each child got the supplies they needed for the upcoming school year. It was a lot of fun for the children and for our police officers and staff. Thanks so much for everyone who sponsored the softball tournament and to each person who came out to play or helped out, you made this possible.
