Tonight your Conway Police Department’s new drone was featured in a story on THV11. At the hands of Detective Cole and Detective Fulbright, the drone has already proven to be a wonderful investigative tool. It was very helpful in reconstructing accidents. But we have also used it in a search for a missing elderly man and in the search for kayakers thought to be stranded on the lake. While the kayakers had already managed to get off the lake, the drone gave us a Birdseye view of the lake leaving us confident no one was stranded. Same case with the missing elderly man. We were able to look from above in the areas he was last seen. Thankfully he was found safely.

‪Thanks to MWD Women’s Ministry for providing dinner to Your Conway Police Department, Fire Department and first responders this evening at the Bethlehem House. We appreciate your thoughtfulness. It was delicious. ‬
