As most of you are aware, the Arizona Sheriff’s Association has asked for gently used shoes to be donated to your local Sheriff’s Office. The shoes will be taken to Funds2orgs and the proceeds will be used to help with training across the state. The La Paz County Sheriff’s Office received over 180 shoes from Kim Eddie Rowland, along with Sadie May, (pictured here with Sheriff Risen). Thank you for your support!👍

We’re very proud of the volunteers in our area. Successfully neutered 32 cats on Friday. All FREE to the public. Our goal is to stop indiscriminate breeding so unwanted litters do not enter the shelter. We will have more of these FREE clinics in the future. Thank you Robin Schilling

We’re very proud of our graduates from the Pinal County Detention Academy. From left to right, Officer McLean, Officer Donahue, Officer Pacheco and Officer Piper. They represented La Paz County well, and we look forward to working with them.

Deputy Max would like to give a huge thanks to Tom and Jerry Mcguire from Parker. Deputy Max received a donation of dog shoes from the Mcguire’s to help assist him in sniffs of vehicles during the summer months on the interstate. As you can see he’s going to need a little more practice.

At approximately 2215 hours last night a subject who had suffered a gun shot wound arrived at Pride Truck Stop in Vicksburg. If anyone has any information in reference to this please contact La Paz County Sheriff’s Department Detective Johnson at 928-669-2281.

We were visited by the Parker High School “S” Club today. They were delivering flowers and reminding everyone about domestic violence awareness month coming up in October. Thank you for coming in to see us today ladies.

We’re very proud to introduce our very own Doc McStuffins!! Doctor Solano had a very sad visitor today. A little boy named William came in to the Vet with his toy doggie this morning. His dog’s name is Max and max was broken.. 😢 so he asked if Doctor Solano was the real life Doc McStuffin and could maybe fix max.... and she said “time for ur check up max!” They went and found batteries and fixed up max! Little William was so excited! They also gave him his shot and some medicine too! Thanks for being a great Doctor and a great person Rayanne Solano!! Doctor Solano will soon be helping us at the Animal Shelter here in Parker. Make sure to come by and say hello, maybe even adopt a pet while you’re at it.
