Officers and staff collected $851 in donations at the Fry's Fuel Pumps for Special Olympics fundraiser yesterday.

The Apache Junction Police Department supports the upcoming event: on October 27th, the Phoenix Police Department will be participating in Missing In Arizona Day 2018 held at the ASU West Campus. This event originated in 2015 and has grown each year. Missing In Arizona Day is a free event helping families and friends affected by the disappearance of a loved one. The event connects people with the resources to find their long-term loved ones who have gone missing. We encourage families who have never reported their loved one missing or those that had difficulty filing a report, to come to the event and file a missing person report. We have agencies from across the state to take reports, representatives from NamUs and support groups to help the families of the missing. We also collect DNA and upload medical records at the event. The goal is to bring resolution to the families members of the missing. See the attached link. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KY5SfVmllJU&feature=youtu.be
