We wish Sergeant Madaloni a wonderful retirement! Sgt. Madaloni began his career with the Azusa Police Department 27 years ago. During his career, he worked in a variety of assignments. Congratulations on a well deserved retirement!

Meet our new addition to Azusa PD! Officer D. Ferrari is a lateral Police Officer with over 14 years of experience in law enforcement. We are excited to have her onboard and she was sworn in by Chief Hunt yesterday. Join us in welcoming Officer D. Ferrari to Azusa!

Due to safety concerns and weather conditions, the Azusa Golden Days Parade has been cancelled.

Walk to School Day was a success! This year we were able to attend multiple schools in our community. It was so much fun to walk with the children in our community. We assisted Hodge School, Dalton Elementary, Magnolia Elementary, Valleydale School, & Paramount Elementary. Thank you everyone for making this a fun event for the kids!

After 31 years of dedicated service to the City of Azusa, Lieutenant Torres is retiring. We are proud of his career and many of us look up to him. He served this city by fulfilling multiple assignments throughout the years including patrol, detective, swat, social media team & field training officer. He was raised in Azusa and protected his city and its residents for the past 31 years. He is this year’s Golden Days Parade Civic Grand Marshall. Lieutenant Torres, you will truly be missed! Happy Birthday Sir & Enjoy your retirement!

September is Pedestrian Safety Month. Be safe! The Office of Traffic Safety funded some enforcement patrols for our department. We will have extra patrols focusing on all pedestrian violations.
