Every year the Escondido Police Department hosts an annual Christmas party to give kids who have been the victims of abuse, neglect, and violent crime a Christmas they might not otherwise get to experience. This year the party will be held on Wednesday December 5, 2018. The event will include food, a magic show, face painting, a visit with Santa Claus, and every child in attendance will receive gifts. We are asking for the community’s help to make this Christmas a little bit brighter for these kids by donating a new unwrapped toy for a boy or girl ages newborn to 18 years old. We are also in need of and accepting gift cards for the older children who attend the party. Some ideas for gift cards include: Target, Walmart. Kohls, Starbucks, movie tickets, etc. Any denomination is greatly appreciated but $20-$25 increments are suggested. Drop off locations include: Escondido PD Front Lobby – 1163 N Centre City Pky, Escondido 92026 Escondido Federal Credit Union – 201 N Broadway, Escondido, 92025 Escondido City Hall – 201 N Broadway, Escondido, 92025 Westfield Shopping Center– 200 E Via Rancho Pky, Escondido, 92025 Blue Mug Coffee & Tea - 1882 W El Norte Pky, Escondido, 92026 North County Yamaha – 2333 Montiel Rd, San Marcos, 92069 CrossFit Point A – 985 Woodland Pky #119, San Marcos, 92069 CrossFit Iconic – 237 E.
