On May 23, 2018, at approximately 8:30 am, the Crowley County Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant for an illegal marijuana grow at 9250 Road E, Olney Springs, CO. Found during the execution of this search warrant was 165 pounds of finished marijuana product, 110 marijuana plants, and growing equipment. The street value is approximately $500,000. Three people were found in the home and are now in custody. Each is charged with a Drug Felony (Cultivation/Possession of Marijuana).

When the search warrant was executed, Deputies discovered an illegal marijuana grow to exceed 100 plants, all plants were seized and destroyed. The street value of the marijuana plants and equipment was approximately $200,000.00. One person was in the residence and is in custody.

January 25th 2018 The Crowley County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant south of Olney Springs. When the search warrant was executed, Deputies discovered an illegal indoor marijuana grow operation to exceed 200 mature plants, all marijuana plants were seized and destroyed. The street value of the marijuana would have been more than $600,000. We would like to thank Crowley County Road and Bridge, Colorado State Patrol and Otero County Sheriff’s Office for their assistance.

01/18/2018 The Crowley County Sheriff’s Office received information from Otero County Sheriff’s Office that inmates housed in the Crowley County Jail were smuggling drugs into the facility. Crowley County Deputies and Jail Command staff opened up an immediate investigation. Deputies set up surveillance and were able to take the suspects into custody, with dangerous drugs in their possession. On Wednesday January 17, 2018 Lisa Marie Aragon (26) and Joseph Wade Lindt (26) both residence of Crowley County,CO, were arrested for Conspiracy to Commit Burglary II F-4, Conspiracy to commit Introduction of Contraband, Unlawful distribution, manufacturing dispensing, sale or possession of a Sch II. The Crowley County Sheriff's Office would like to thank the Otero County SO for their assistance.
