Can you help us identify these individuals? It's believed they were involved in a burglary from the Springs Bar on 10/17/18.

For those needing bulk water due to the stations in Rifle and Silt being closed, Glenwood has a bulk water station located on 7th St below City Hall that is open. The station takes quarters only.

If your children are attending the Glenwood Springs High School homecoming dance please be aware that they are on a lockout, no one is to enter or leave the school. All students are safe inside the school. Police Officers are in the area investigating an incident and we will notify the students when they are free to leave. If you are coming to pick your children up, please stage in the parking lot of City Market.

UPDATE 10/11/2018 - Austin Tippett was spotted on an afternoon stroll in the downtown area by an observant officer, and apprehended on 5 warrants for his arrest. Officers located additional stolen property on his person spawning an additional criminal case against him. Austin was lodged at the Garfield County Jail. UPDATE 10/06/2018 - The suspect in this case has been identified as Austin Tippett and a felony warrant for his arrest has been issued for Burglary, Theft, and Credit Card Fraud. He is currently wanted - if anyone knows his location please call Dispatch at 970-625-8095 Case 18-18364 The pictured male entered the Community Center locker room this morning at 0626 hours, and decided to cut a lock off a locker and steal a credit card within. The male left at 0658 hours and later went on a shopping spree at Lowes. If you know this male we would love to know why he thought this was ok. We don't consider this "borrowing" at GSPD! UPDATE 10/04/2018: Subject has been identified and arrested. Thank you for everyone's assistance! Case 18-17932 On September 26th, 2018 a female was assaulted in the parking garage of Manor 1 on Blake Ave. The victim had asked an unknown male party (suspect) to put his cigarette out. (Fire ban/Smoking ban downtown) The male believing he is immune to the law decided to have a full on conniption fit on our victim. The male kicked her and attempted a wild haymaker which glanced her face, but did not injure her. The male was described as a short white male with dark hair, and facial hair. If you know the identity of this male please submit a crime tip to or call GSPD at 970-384-6500.
