Another year working with The CCSU Student Government Association and the Good Neighbor Campaign. The Student Government Association and CCSU Police Officers toured some of the surrounding neighborhoods and cleaned up trash as well as spoke with residents about some of their concerns.

Please join us in saying goodbye, and wishing a long happy and healthy retirement to our Dispatcher, Claire Williams. Thank you for your tireless services to the CCSU community and our department. You will be missed. You’re no longer a short timer... enjoy it!

It's a day to reflect, it's a day to mourn, it's a day to pledge that we will be better at living, loving and giving. 911

The CCSU PD welcomes back our returning and new students. Have a safe fun productive semester.

It began as most challenges do, small talk about the love of chili. Which progressed to someone saying that a certain restaurant makes great chili, and then, the inevitable final ingredient. Someone in the small group proclaims that they make the BEST Chili. With the gauntlet thrown, the challenge is accepted. What started out as two people became a challenge of 8 (they roped me in). In the end, the person who made the original statement of having the best, stood at the victory table. Congratulations to Officer Joe Magarolas. CCSU PD's Chili Cook Off Winner.

For me, as a Police Chief, one of the most rewarding experiences is the swearing-in ceremony for new officers. Watching the excitement on their faces and the pride on the faces of their family, friends and loved ones is heartwarming. Today, we got to have our formal ceremony for them and an opportunity to fellowship with our newest members and their support systems. Welcome to the CCSU Blue Devils and CCSU Police Department family.

The CCSU Police Department would like to welcome our 3 new employees. Erin Weber, Alex Torres and Timothy Callahan who will start the Ct. Police Academy on Friday July 6, 2018. Welcome to CCSU !!
