Houston County Community Corrections would like to announce that the following subject has been apprehended. Justin "JP" Jarrard was taken into custody on this date in Clayhatchee Alabama. He will be returned to Houston County to face additional criminal charges. Cook was taken into custody on this date by Investigation/Apprehension at approximately 11:40 AM. Mr. Cook was being sought by Houston County Community Corrections since April 11, 2018, for failure to remain in compliance with program standards. Mr. Cook has been transported to The Houston County jail where he will now answer to new criminal charges stemming from non-compliance. Lets see how many LIKES we can get.. We are very pleased to announce that our job placement specialist, Mrs. Seawright, was able to make 29 male and female employment placements for the month of March 2018. Thats 29 people hired in 29 days folks, and we are super proud of this accomplishment. Houston County Community Corrections would like to send out a very special Thank You to another one of our awesome employers, Cooks Saw Manufacturing. Looks like our job placement specialist Heather Seawright, had a wonderful time driving Human Resources Supervisor Byron Mugler around in that cart.

It is with great pleasure that we are able to announce that our job placement personnel secured jobs for 28 men and women in the work release program for the month of February. Folks, if that isnt some serious dedication i dont know what is. We are truly proud of you all, and are blessed to have such awesome personnel. Look out March, here WE come.

Houston County Community Corrections had 23 hires for the month of January. That was an awesome job of our job placement personnel, but we're hoping February will be even better. Here's to 2018 being a banner year for Houston County Community Corrections.

Thanksgiving is a special time of the year for our staff. No details are being provided at this time due to our ongoing investigation into this matter. He will be booked into The Houston County Jail on the charge of Escape 2nd Degree and have a NO BOND on current charges. In June 2017, our job placement personnel was able to put 42 men and women to work. Thats 42 men and women earning their own way and making the very best of this program.
