Thoughts and prayers for the victims in Las Vegas. 😔

Sgt. Johncox wuz here... running radars... in yer neighborhood!! Ozark Acres.

We at the PD know that there are some difficult issues facing the City of Cave Springs. We would like our citizens, and the rest of the Northwest Arkansas community, to know that we value integrity and professionalism. Furthermore, we have a strict "zero tolerance" policy about racism.

On Thursday, August 31, 2017, a section of W. Brown Rd. Near the intersection of W. Brown and Hwy 112 will be closed between the hours of 08:00 am - 1:00 pm. The attached picture shows where the road closure will be. Also, if you look at the picture, the corn field to the left has "Go Hogs" and a picture of the Arkansas Razorbacks Mascot... which is neat... sorry for the inconvenience.

We have been receiving complaints about speeding in a few of our subdivisions. We hear you and we are going to do what we can to help. In the meantime, please watch your speed and enjoy the drive.

We have another doggo in the pen. Looks like this pup escaped from a cable line. If you recognize it, please give us a shout via the Benton County Non-Emergency number.

Thought and prayers for the family of Gary Michael of the Clinton Police Department in Clinton, MO.

Do you recognize this pup? If so, give us a call.

Chief: What are you doing? Sergeant: Stretching. Chief: Why? Sergeant: Bears man. Bears. Chief: What bears? Sergeant: Exactly! They are stealthier than folks think. Chief: There is something wrong with you man.

Been awhile since we made a post. New I.T. Company firewalled Facebook. But, we are back baby!! The PD would like to wish everyone a preemptive happy 'Merica Day! Everyone have a safe and fun Independence Day! 'Merica!!!! ~Sgt. Jaycee Johncox

We at the PD are aware of the recent news stories being aired by our local news stations. I want the citizens of Cave Springs to know that the C.S.P.D. is providing, and will continue to provide, 24/7 police services for our citizens. ~Chief Crisman

Someone is missing a pup. Let us know if you recognize this pupper so we can return her to her owner.

Sergeant: Chief, I have decided that I need theme music to play wherever I go. Chief: Go away... Sergeant: ::leaves office humming Kenny Loggins "Danger Zone"::

Chief: What is this!? Sergeant: A pillow fort... It's Fort Ticonderoga Chief: Why!? Why do you do these things? Sergeant: You better come into the fort, or the carpet lava is going to burn you....

Despite the flooding, we had a good day at the Arkansas take back initiative. Approximately 150 lbs of unused or expired medication was turned in for disposal. Thank you to all those who participated!!

Survived Rain-arok. Here is a couple of photos from Saturday at about 4:00 pm taken of Hwy 112 just north of Wallis Rd. We are proud to say that we had zero injuries reported and only one swift water rescue. Thank you to all those who volunteered their time to help, and to our officers who were called in during their time off. We are fortunate to have a great group of seasoned officers!

Wagon Wheel Rd. One lane bridge. This is going to be closed for a while folks, plan ahead.

Tomorrow, Saturday, April 29th, is the day for the Arkansas Take Back Initiative! If you need to get rid of any expired/unused prescription medication, we will have a drop point set up at the American Legion Post 274 located at 168 Glenwood Ave. here in Cave Springs. If you bring any illicit narcotics in such as marijuana or methamphetamine, we will have a shiny set of bracelets for you!! 😉. Serious though.... prescription meds only.

In 2009, Northwest Arkansas had Ice-pocalypse, 2010 brought snow-megeddon. Fast forward seven years and it looks like Rain-narok is upon us. Batten down the hatches. Try to stock up on some bottled water and canned goods. If you must travel, beware of flash-flooding. And if you find yourself saying: "I think 'we'en' make it..." you might consider turning around and finding another route. Be safe everyone!

Chief: Why is this inventory report written in pencil? Sergeant: I have stopped writing in pen. Chief: What!? Why!? Sergeant: I'm afraid of commitment... get it!? Chief: ::points at time out corner:: Sergeant: dang it...

Beautiful liquid sunshine pouring all over Northwest Arkansas this fine morning. That said, drive safe! Put the phone down, give the car in front of you a little extra room, apply the brakes a bit sooner than you normally would, wear your seatbelt, drink milk, and don't run with scissors!!
