Escaped Prisoner from Brickeys DOC
The Arkansas Department of Correction says a convicted murderer has escaped custody from an East Arkansas prison.
Lloyd Jones, 40, escaped Monday from the East Arkansas Regional Correctional Facility in Brickeys, which is in Lee County.
Jones was convicted of first degree murder and abuse of a corpse in the 2012 death of 16-year-old Angela Allen of Van Buren. He was also convicted of rape in a 2001 case.
He is described as a white male, 6 feet tall and 175 pounds. He has numerous tattoos, including a dragon, a woman, a wizard, and a castle on his back; dragons on his chest; and flames, a skull, a cross, a snake, and a tribal tattoo on his upper left arm.May also possibly have a beard now.
