This evening and tonight snow, slush, and water on the roadway will re freeze causing hazardous conditions. Please avoid driving if at all possible. Medical personal call Central Dispatch 234-5655 if you need assistance to or from work tonight or in the morning.

Everyone please stay off the roads tonight unless you absolutely have to get out. Any medical personnel needing a ride to or from work tonight due to inclement weather please call Central Dispatch 234-5655 and we will send an officer to help with transportation.

Arkansas State Police, Magnolia PD, Magnolia FD, Columbia County Sheriffs Deputies, and Columbia County Ambulance Service were fortunate enough, thanks to Wal-Mart, to be able to participate in Shop with a Cop this morning. This is definitely one of the best parts of the job. Merry Christmas!

ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR DISPATCHER Central Dispatch is now accepting applications for position of Dispatcher. Applications can be picked up at Central Dispatch, which is located at the Columbia County Sheriff’s Department on County Road 300. Applicants must pass a background check, and have at least a high school diploma. This position has a starting pay of $11.40 an hour plus benefits and does involve shift work.

The law enforcement community lost a long time partner, supporter, and friend today. He will be greatly missed. Rest In Peace Dave!!! Our prayers are with his family.
