PSA: Cross County Judge Donnie Sanders has lifted the Burn Ban.

PSA --- Cross County District Court Amnesty Week Dec. 4-8 Stay out of jail this Christmas if you have an outstanding warrant for failure to appear or failure to pay fines in Cross County District Court. During the week of Dec. 4-8, you may schedule a court appearance in January. Call the court at 870-238-9171 to find out what department your warrant is issued out of. Then go to that department and they will give you a court date to appear in court on Wednesday, Jan. 10, at 9 a.m. You will not go to jail. You will then appear on that court date and get set up on a payment plan. The court will waive your warrant fee if you appear as scheduled. If you fail to appear, another warrant will be issued. This does not apply to outstanding warrants for criminal charges.

PSA --- Cross County is now under a burn ban until further notice per County Judge Donnie Sanders.
