MARMADUKE SEARCH WARRANT Early Wednesday morning June 27th Sheriff David Carter and Greene County Deputies executed a Search Warrant at 602 N 2nd street in Marmaduke shutting down an active drug selling operation. During the search deputies found large amounts of crystal methamphetamine, two firearms and drug paraphernalia. Total weight of crystal methamphetamine seized from this address totaled over a quarter pound. This was the third successful search warrant executed in Marmaduke by Sheriff Carter and his team. Daniel Judd was arrested and transported to the Greene County detention center and charged with possession of crystal methamphetamine with purpose to deliver, simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms, possession of drug paraphernalia and deliver of crystal methamphetamine.

Early morning search warrant Early Friday morning Sheriff Carter along with Greene County Deputies conducted a search warrant on east Court street shutting down an active drug selling operation. In the home deputies located numerous bags of crystal methamphetamine weighed out and packaged for selling, one thousand four hundred and eighty eight dollars cash. They also found digital scales and numerous items of drug paraphernalia. Mr.patrick Young was then arrested for delivery of crystal methamphetamine x 3, possession of crystal methamphetamine with purpose to deliver, distribution near a certain facilities X 3, use of a communication device and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Last night's arrests Greene County Deputies arrested Ms. Shena Reed for possession of crystal methamphetamine and Ms. Charlie Smith for possession of crystal methamphetamine with purpose to deliver. Both arrests were during traffic stops late last night.

SAFETY DAY Today is safety day and we will be at Wal-Mart on 412 west from 10:00 till 2:00 pm. We will be giving out information on computer scams and have items for the children such as safety coloring books, sticker badges, pencils, erasers and gun locks. Come on out and see us.

Wanted Suspect Arrested Greene County Deputies arrested Mr. Gregory Fender II this afternoon after a pursuit in a stolen vehicle that ran from Carroll Rd to County Rd 789.Mr. Fender then bailed from his vehicle and led deputies on a short foot pursuit. Gregory Fender was wanted by Greene and three other counties on various felony charges.

GREENE COUNTY DETENTION CENTER Jail Administrator Allison Huckabee and Jail Supervisor Don Crittenden are doing a great job overseeing the operation and staff of The Greene County Detention center. Seldom seen but always on the job are the men and women of the Greene County Detention center. These people do a great job during the day to day operation of the facility. They are here working 24 hours a day seven days a week 12 hours a shift. That includes all weekends and holidays. We are very greatful to have such a good crew working with us here.

Relay for Life We all had a great time at the 2018 relay for life event this year.It was good to see our dear friend Chris Bunch, visit with Prince and have a good meal at the we are family food tent. A great bunch of people helping make money for a good cause and having a good time doing it.

Glow Run 2018 We had a good time at the glow run once again. It was good to see a lot of familiar faces from the past glow runs showing up again to have a good time for a good cause. Proceeds go to the diabetes association and the juvenile diabetes research foundation.

Traffic stop leads to arrest K-9 Deputy Anthony Ganus arrested Ms. Angel Clark after discovering 12.8 grams of crystal methamphetamine and 39 Xanax pills during a traffic stop for fictious tags.

K 2 ARREST Ms Kristi Thomas was arrested on a warrant and then during a search 14 grams of K 2 was found on her person. K 2 is a synthetic potpourri marijuana. What makes it so dangerous is the people that get it to resale add their on chemicals to make it stronger and hundreds of people across the nation have died after the use of K 2.

Little Rock Meeting I had a good time visiting with a lot of old friends in Little Rock today during a meeting with Governor Asa Hutchinson and all Arkansas Sheriffs.

Special Olympics Torch Run It was an honor once again to participate in the annual Special Olympics Torch Run today. We started out in Clay county and went through Greene County. It was good to see a lot of our friends from last year and cheer our Special Olympic athletes.

Request Fulfilled In answering a residents request , today I put flags on veterans graves at Pruets Chapel Cemetery.

Fictious tags stop leads to felony arrest Greene Counties newest Deputy Zach Crocker is off to a good start. Deputy Crocker arrested Mr. Walker Dodd after a traffic stop off hwy 141 led to the discovery 9.1 grams of crystal methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Mr. Dodd was then transported to the Greene County Sheriff's Detention center and charged with possession of crystal methamphetamine with purpose to deliver, obstructing governmental operations and possession of drug paraphernalia. FIVE METHAMPHETAMINE ARRESTS OVER WEEKEND. During this past weekend four persons were arrested for possession of crystal methamphetamine and one for Delivery of crystal methamphetamine. Sabrina Curtis, Raymond Dodd, Megan Edgar and Dustin Capps were arrested for possession of crystal methamphetamine. Andrew Walker was arrested for delivery of crystal methamphetamine. Good job guys.

Meeting It was good to see the Sheriff's of Northeast Arkansas all get together and meet with Scott Montgomery the President of the Arkansas sheriff's association Friday. This gave everyone the opportunity to discuss local and state issues and to all be on the same page. Communication and cooperation is a great tool in Law Enforcement.
