2017 Arkansas Marathon! On 10/14/2017 Booneville Police Officers were out in full force assisting with the marathon. Congadulations to all of the runners!

First Day of School! SRO. Wilder is back in action! We hope that all students have a great first day and a wonderfull school year!

Booneville Police Officers, AR 15th Judicial Drug Task Force and Arkansas State Police conducted a search warrant at a residence in Booneville. 2 suspects were taken into custody. Over 12 ounces of meth was seized. Suspects are facing multiple charges.

Heading Home's

At approximately 1: 30 a.m. Chief Brown was with two other Officers dealing with a suicidal suspect who came out of his apartment armed. Chief Brown attempted to disarm and tackle the suspect, and recieved a gunshot wound to the leg. The suspect was taken into custody. Chief Brown is in stable condition and expected to be released soon.

Tornado sirens will be tested today at 12:00 pm.

Siren test is complete, both sirens and safe rooms are working properly.

Well it never fails when we schedule a Tornado Siren Test. We have Severe weather before we get it done. Very Glad the major Storms missed our area. Since the weather is good today we will still conduct the Tornado Siren Test as planned at noon.

The City of Booneville will be testing the City's Tornado Sirens at Noon on March 1st, 2016 and Noon on March 15th, 2017. Weather Permitting.

Logan County Burn Ban has been lifted effective 2-15-17.

Logan County is under a BURN BAN!

A Burn Ban is in place for all of Logan County effective 11-3-16.

8/17/16 The City of Booneville just experienced a power outage. The Tornado Siren downtown went off due to the outage. It was not set off on purpose. Thank You
