I want to give a huge shout out to the England Police Department for their quick action last night. A vehicle was stolen from a local business in Lonoke last night at approximately 10 pm. A BOLO was put out and within about 30 minutes, England units had our suspect in custody and a man got his truck back! So big thanks to Officer Bull for the sharp eye! On another note, today we were able to recover 2 runaways in two separate cases. Destiny Romoro was located at around 2 pm and Austin Goss was located at around 6:30 this evening. Both cases were unrelated! Just good people with good eyes! Thanks to everyone involved. Sgt. Page

Good folks of Lonoke, Unfortunately the warm weather has brought out unsavory folks into Lonoke to take what isn’t theirs to support whatever habits they have. I know if you are a victim, you feel totally violated, I know, I sympathize with you. I wish I had an officer on every street and every business to prevent this from happening. I promise you we are catching who we can and looking at every lead. In looking at videos connected to the thefts it does not appear to be local. I will be posting still pictures of the suspects on our Police Department page soon. If you recognize private message me or the department page. Your info will be anonymous. Please remember to protect yourselves and take all valuables out of your car and lock it up. If you have a shed with valuables lock it up. Turn your porch lights on to detour anyone at night. If you are a victim I promise you once I establish who they are and can connect them to your crime, we will snatch them up. Thanks Chief Mauk.
