There will be no driver yet given at the Des Arc city hall until July 27, 2018 if anyone needs a test they can go to Forrest City to the ASP headquarters thanks

The Des Arc police department would like to think the citizen of Des Arc for the year 2017 it has been a pleasure to Serve and protect everyone this past year. As this year comes to a close and we start the new year 2018 we at the department look forward to another outstanding year. We will be seeing several new changes for our city in regards to the sales tax that each one of the citizens helped to get passed. Again thanks for allowing this department to be such an outstanding community.

As you may or may not have noticed the stop signs on 5th street have been removed. The speed limit on that road is 20 MPH officers will be strictly enforcing this speed limit so be mindful of your speed

I would like to remind everyone that Monday starts a new school year. I would like to express to parents about the Saftey of our children when dropping off and picking up. Also be mindful of children in crosswalks. As an added reminder no cell phone usage in school zones. Aways wear your seat belts be safe, let us have a great school year full of learning.
