Daily Summary for March 15, 2018 *A vehicle was reported stolen from a north service road business. *Another vehicle was reported stolen from a Columbia Street address. *Officers served an outstanding felony warrant from our department after Arkansas State Police made contact with the suspect. *Two other felony warrants were served on suspects picked up by other agencies and transported to the detention center. *After responding to a south service road business, officers arrested a suspect for an outstanding Failure to Appear warrant from North Little Rock PD. *A traffic stop on a stolen moped on Market Street resulted in charges of Theft by Receiving, Defective/Improper Head Lamps, Fail to Present Proof of Insurance and Driving on a Suspended DL for the driver. Ashley Street, Crooked Stick Drive and Pinehurst Drive. *Following a disturbance on E North Street, one suspect is facing charges of Robbery and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, as well as an outstanding warrant from our department. Daily Summary for March 13, 2018 *Following a traffic stop on the north service road, one suspect was arrested for DWI, Refusal to Submit to Testing, Driving on a Suspended DL, Careless or Prohibited Driving, Leaving the Scene of an Accident with Property Damage only, Failure to Yield to Emergency Vehicle and two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance. *Officers responded to a call of a reckless driver on Banner Street and arrested a suspect for Possession of a Controlled Substance. *An accident on Palm Street led to charges of Duty to Give Information, Remain at the Scene of an Accident and Render Aid, No Driver’s License and No Liability Insurance for the driver of the vehicle. *After responding to a welfare check on Hiland Circle, officers arrested a suspect for an outstanding warrant from the Arkansas Board of Parole as well as a felony warrant from Pulaski County. *Following a welfare concern at a Hwy-5 location, one suspect was arrested for 3rd degree Assault and Disorderly Conduct. *A prowler call on Jackman Street resulted in officers arresting a suspect for a felony probation warrant from Saline County. Today is National K-9 Veterans Day, a day designated to honor the service and sacrifice of American military and working dogs throughout history. The Army began training for the K-9 Corps on this day in 1942, marking the first time dogs were part of the U.S. Armed Forces. We certainly appreciate the contributions of K-9 officers both then and now. This is Sam, one of BNPD's current K-9 officers (his handler Officer Robinson didn't want to steal the spotlight...).

A juvenile was charged with Aggravated Assault in juvenile court. *Following a traffic stop on Market Street, one suspect was arrested for an outstanding felony parole warrant and also charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Fictitious Tags. *Officers responded to a disturbance at a Military Road business and arrested a suspect for Possession of a Controlled Substance and an outstanding warrant from our department. *A Palm Street traffic stop led to the arrest of a suspect for Possession of a Controlled Substance. *A breaking or entering of an unlocked vehicle was reported on Creek View Drive. *Officers responded to a shoplifting call on Benton Parkway and arrested one suspect for that offense. Daily Summary weekend March 10-11, 2018 *Following a suspicious person call to Saline Memorial Emergency Department, one suspect was charged with Fleeing and Disorderly Conduct. *Officers responded to a Timbermist Drive residence for a report of a disturbance that had already occurred. One suspect was arrested for Aggravated Assault on a Family or Household Member and Domestic Battery 3rd degree. *Officers responded to a disturbance on S. Richards Street and arrested a suspect for Disorderly Conduct and Public Intoxication. *After a report of a child wandering the parking lot of an Alcoa Road apartment complex alone, one suspect was charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Minor. *A Jefferson Street disturbance resulted in the arrest of a suspect for Public Intoxication. *Officers responded to a Wild Mango residence in reference to a Violation of an Order of Protection. Charges are pending for a suspect. *A South Market Street resident reported a burglary in progress. Upon officers’ arrival, the homeowner advised that an unknown white male entered the residence without invitation. Officers located the suspect who was arrested for Public Intoxication and Criminal Trespass. *Upon officers’ arrival at an I-30 business, one suspect was arrested for shoplifting. *Officers responded to a north service road business and arrested a suspect for shoplifting. The suspect was wanted for outstanding warrants from Bryant, Grant County, Malvern and Searcy. *A theft was reported from a vehicle at a north service road business. *Another theft from a vehicle was reported at a Meadow Lane residence. *A Hiland Place resident reported an act of criminal mischief. *Following a disturbance at an Alcoa Road residence, one suspect is facing charges of Domestic Battery 3rd and Obstructing Governmental Operations. *A disturbance at a N. Summit Road residence led to the arrest of a suspect for outstanding warrants from our department. Calls for Service: 142 Traffic stops: 29 Accidents: 9 Citations: 5
