Integrity is still alive and well in Clinton, Arkansas. We are all human and make mistakes, it's what we do to redeem ourselves that defines us. Earlier in the week Susan went shopping at our local Walmart. She got busy as most do unloading her cart and forgot her wallet in the shopping cart and went home. A young lady picked up the wallet and in a moment of weakness took $160 cash out of it and turned it into the service desk at Walmart without the cash. Susan came to report her lost wallet to the Clinton Police and thought that would be the last she'd ever see of her wallet or cash. Susan actually found her wallet at Walmart but never the less without her cash. Apparently the young lady that took the cash was having second thoughts about keeping it and today came by the police department and turned it in with a letter of apology. She handed it to the secretary in the front office and ran out the door before the secretary had a chance to open it and discover what it was. Susan the owner was notified and came by the police department and retrieved her returned cash and letter of apology.
