Please congratulate Avondale Police Officer Bradley. Yesterday he graduated with Class 514 from the Phoenix Regional Police Academy. Officer Bradley was one of 28 new police officers from 8 different agencies. He starts his post academy training on Monday. This week our Neighborhood Resource Officer, Ofc. Emmett, is spending a few days discussing the impact of bullying with 5th-8th graders at Country Place Elementary School. #APDCares

This afternoon we received a donation of over 150 handmade wooden car banks for us to give to the children at our Cashion Christmas event coming up in December. We are always so humbled by the generosity of our citizens. Thank you!

Over the past two years, officers from the police department have served community members at the Avondale Senior Center. Today, the tables were turned and staff treated officers by serving them breakfast. Thank you to Erin and her staff for serving the best biscuits and gravy.

The Phoenix Mercury, CrossFit Rave and the Avondale Police Department have teamed up to host a Fitness Competition in benefit of Special Olympics Arizona.
