‪Junior's bike was recently stolen but thanks to some amazing students at #Gilliland MS, we were able to present him w/a bike which was rebuilt by students in the Recycle-a-bike program. Jr. was very grateful to as his bike was his only form of transportation. @TempeElementary ‬

The Tempe PD Gang Unit is participating in an amazing event to raise money to purchase equipment for the Town of Guadalupe Little League Baseball program. Our gang unit is very proactive with youth involvement which is part of an intervention and prevention initiative to keep the kids involved in sports and out of gangs. This fundraiser is being co-sponsored with Arizona Gang Investigators Association (AZGIA) which is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization who will be accepting the donations. The Tempe Police Department is looking for your assistance in attempting to locate a vehicle that struck a pedestrian and left the area. The incident occurred around 8pm on 2/15 in the 4900 block of S Ash in Tempe. The vehicle is described as a smaller SUV possibly red in color.
