They indicate that award recipients must pay first to receive the award. Be cautious when dealing with anyone indicating you need to pay money randomly unawares.

The Winslow Police Department is saddened to announce the passing of Retired Officer Lorenzo Baca. Officer Baca served the Winslow Police Department for over 21 years, having started with the department on March 7, 1957 and retiring on November 21, 1978. Officer Baca was born on October 26, 1930 and passed away on March 17, 2018. He will be laid to rest in Tucson. Thank you for a life of service Officer Baca. You will be missed sir.
