#TrafficAlert for Sunday, November 5- The annual Two Cities Marathon & Half will take place in Fresno and Clovis this Sunday, November 5. Several streets and intersections will be closed or have detours in Clovis from 5am-12pm. Streets will reopen as soon as runners are through and the course is clear for specific areas. Please expect delays in these areas. Below is a map of the Clovis portion of the course.

Have you used our secure drug and sharps drop-off bins? Keep them away from your kids and out of the trash by disposing of them in these bins in front of our lobby doors! Our police station is located at 1233 Fifth St., Clovis, and the bins are available 24 hours a day, every day of the year. -Please dispose of pills in bags, not the containers they come in. -You can dispose of any pill - prescribed, over the counter, vitamins, or more. Bins are emptied weekly and are for the personal use of our residents. Businesses may not use them.

#ClovisFest is this weekend in Old Town Clovis! Hot air balloons will set off both Saturday and Sunday at about 7am with booths opening up shortly after! For more information, check out the event on the Facebook page for the Clovis Chamber of Commerce! Please use caution in the Old Town area as there will be thousands of pedestrians and vehicles. Our Officers, CSO's, and Explorers will be at Clovis Fest all weekend to ensure your safety. Free parking is at the Clovis Rodeo grounds with a secure crosswalk at that location to get you to the festivities! Have a fun and safe weekend!

Clovis PD is selling commemorative pink patches for a limited time to support breast cancer awareness, research, and education for the amazing Pink Patch Project! Patches are only $10 a piece and can be purchased at the Records window in the lobby of our police station during their hours, Monday-Friday, 8am-3pm! Payment can be made by cash or check made out to "Clovis Police Foundation" and 100% of the proceeds go directly to fight breast cancer! Look familiar? The Clovis Police Department is requesting the public's help in identifying a fraud suspect. The female pictured below used a stolen credit card to make a purchase at the Big Lot's store in Fresno on June 17, 2017.
