#COYOTEINFORMATION Attention fair citizens! 📣 It is the start of coyote pup-rearing season (May – August). These pups are born in their dens and usually begin to leave their den by June and July. They then follow their parents in patrolling their territory and hunting. While most coyote sightings occur during dusk and dawn, it is not abnormal for a coyote to be out during the day time. Take precautions to protect your pets! 🐶🐈 If you or your pet is approached by an aggressive coyote, pick up your pet or keep it on a short leash and try to frighten the coyote by making loud noises or waving your arms. 🚫🐺 For a full list of tips and more information, check out our Living With Coyotes brochure.
