Have you seen our officers looking a little scruffier these days? Oakdale Police Officers Association are continuing positive support and cancer awareness for Men's Cancer Awareness month. The goal of No-Shave November is to grow awareness by embracing our hair, which many cancer patients lose, and letting it grow wild and free. Donate the money you typically spend on shaving and grooming to educate about cancer prevention, save lives, and aid those fighting the battle.

We are pleased to announce the Drop the Drug’s box is now in our lobby. In partnership with the Stanislaus County Prevention Network, through the Stanislaus County Drop the Drugs Program, this service is being implemented so that we can assist members of our community with the proper disposal of unwanted medications in efforts to prevent negative environmental and social impacts that prescription drugs can have on a community. The process to drop off unwanted prescription drugs is simple; Between 0800 hours – 1700 hours, Monday – Friday, citizens who want to dispose of their unwanted prescription medications can secure and seal their prescription bottles/medication, place them into a secured Ziploc type plastic baggy, bring them to the police department, and secure them in the Drop the Drugs receptacle. We do not accept syringes.
