Help us congratulate our Sworn Officer of the Year Jennifer Grounds! After earning her MA in Public Policy she traveled the world teaching the fundamentals of finance. Lucky for us Jennifer landed in Colorado and transitioned into law enforcement. She has been a Police Officer with Northglenn since 2015. "This was the best move I've ever made, I love my job and cannot wait to see where this career takes me."

City Manager James Hayes, Chief of Police James May and former Director of Public Works David Willett were presented with the Sean May Leadership Award during Victim’s Rights Week for their work with the Ralston House. This award, named after the Adams County Deputy District Attorney who was killed outside his home in 2008, is designated for a recipient who has shown outstanding leadership in services for victims of crime in the 17th Judicial District. Congratulations and Thank you!

The week of April 8-14, 2018, is National Crime Victims’ Rights Week. This year’s theme—Expand the Circle: Reach All Victims.—emphasizes the importance of inclusion in victim services. The theme addresses how the crime victims field can better ensure that every crime victim has access to services and support and how professionals, organizations, and communities can work in tandem to reach all victims. Thank you to our Thornton/Northglenn Victim Advocates for providing resources to more than 1,800 victims of crime in the City of Northglenn in 2017!
