The Lauderhill Police Department takes any allegation of criminal activity seriously, and as such, will be investigated. Allegations of animal abuse are a priority, and we appreciate everyone's overwhelming concern. That being said, in order to facilitate an immediate response to allegations of crimes, we ask that the public contact either 9-1-1 for emergencies or our non-emergency number (954-497-4700). This site is not monitored for police response. Regarding the recent allegations of animal abuse on NW 21st Street, the following actions have been taken: - Code Enforcement and the Police Department responded to this location on 12/4/17. - Code Enforcement determined the dogs to be in good health, there was plenty of accessible food, water, and ample shelter. - This information was forwarded to Animal Control for follow up - A report has been filed, and is available for review per FSS 119 within 7-10 business days from today (12/5/17) Again, the Lauderhill Police appreciates the community's involvement and concern regarding animal safety/well being.
