In addition to the full-time school resource officers that for more than a decade have been assigned to every school (two at the high schools) in Miramar, we have additional officers stationed at the schools. This has been done as a precaution. No threats have been received.

Our Hoops for Hope Basketball Tournament raised thousands of dollars for college scholarships. The #MiramarPD team placed first. Hollywood Police Department placed second and Miami Gardens Police Department placed third. We thank ALL who participated.

And in other 🏀 news.... Today’s Ballin’ for Unity game was a huge success! We loved playing against the students at Henry D. Perry Education Center. Final Score: 48-52 (Miramar 👮 won) 🏀
