City Employees enjoyed a delicious lunch this afternoon at Spring Park. A huge thank you to the Elks Lodge for sponsoring the event along with several local Churches, organizations and community members!

The men and women of the Green Cove Springs Police Department proudly witnessed Chief Derek Asdot's Pinning Ceremony tonight at City Hall. Congratulations Chief Asdot!

Come out to the annual MPWC Charities Holiday Boutique at Sacred Heart in Fleming Island. Lots of great vendors and a chance to bid on "A Day On The Range" with Chief Asdot! The event ends at 3:30 today.

Sgt. Hess is passing out candy to the Trick or Treaters in the community!

The students and staff at Charles E. Bennett Elementary School did an awesome job at the annual Costume Parade! Thanks for allowing GCSPD to be a part of such a great event!

Judd, City Manager (904) 297-7500 Ext. 3320 City of Green Cove Springs Appoints Police Chief City of Green Cove Springs, Fla., October 30, 2017 – City of Green Cove Springs has appointed Derek S. Asdot as its Police Chief. Mr. Asdot was appointed as the Acting Police Chief in April of this year. During the last six months, Mr. Asdot has performed in an exemplary manner. Therefore, after careful consideration and an interview, the City Manager has appointed Derek S. Asdot as our new Police Chief. His appointment is effective immediately.

GCSPD is pleased to participate in the 18th Annual Quigley House Purple Ribbon Golf Tournament.
