Congratulations to our very own Lt. Donteris Andrews for becoming this years Officer of the year in Gadsden County.

Good afternoon everybody. As you all may know the storm appears to be shifting it's way towards our area. The local shelters are going to be opening possibly Sunday morning at the Gadsden Highschool and at the Havana Middle School. There are also sandbags available at the sandpit located on Post Plant Road in Quincy. We are expecting damaging winds and heavy rains which will most likely knock out power in our area. We are asking everyone to please be patient with our utilitiy crews while they work diligently to restore power. We can be reached at 850-539-2800/2801 and 2802. Updates will continue to be posted when they become available to us. Thank you all again and please be safe.

The Havana Police Department would like to take this time to honor the ones who have paid the ultimate price for our freedoms.

We had a special visitor at the Police Department today, Roslyn came by to pay us a visit and brought treats for our employees. She and her grandmother Debra Wilford Boucher are starting a "thankful Thursday" and today she wanted to thank the men and woman of the Havana Police Department. We would like to thank Roslyn and and Mrs. Boucher for the treats and we sincerely appreciate the support!
