On January 2, these two male suspects went to Consumer Auto Credit posing as potential buyers. When the salesperson walked away for a moment, the two suspects stole a white Mercedes Benz CLA 250 off of the car lot. Tonight while Cpl A. Peterson was patrolling Davis Island she observed Ms. Lexi Polmann driving with a flat tire. Cpl A. Peterson conducted a stop to let Ms. Polmann know about her tire. Sgt E. Bodamer and Cpl E. Wilkinson also responded and were asked to assist, without hesitation all 3 jumped into action! Thank you Sgt Bodamer, Cpl Wilkinson and Cpl Peterson for leading by example! #TPD #protectandserve #leadership

Since the 70s, Sergeant Mark Delage has worked all aspects of stadium security in addition to patrolling our city’s streets. District III evening shift Officers David Alverson and Probationary Officer Arthur Harrison delivering Christmas gifts to citizens of Tampa. #onefamily #TPD #helpthosewhenyoucan

In July 2009 Sergeant Womack began a tradition with his squad. Instead of getting each other gifts at Christmas time, they all would put the money together that they would have spent on each other and find a well deserving family. This year was no different, except for the fact this year the DUI Unit (Squad 515) decided to find a family closer to home and a victim of the mission they fight everyday. They reached out to MADD and with their assistance they were able to find the family of Dontae Hill Sr. He was tragically killed in a DUI crash in January 2017. He left behind his girlfriend, Talisa and her daughter along with his two sons Donzel (2) and Dontae Jr (11 months). Sergeant Womack and his unit then collected money without hesitation so that this family could feel the support for their sudden loss and the children being without their father at Christmas time. The family was truly blessed today from this outstanding group of people. Thank you very much Squad 515!

District III midnight Officers M. Landry, A. Maceo and M. Hutton were on patrol and invited to join in a street football game with the neighborhood kids. Officer's were able to tie the game up with a pick 6 making the final score 21-21! We look forward to the rematch! #TPD #Holidayspirit
