Miami Beach Police Department News

Each year Miami Beach Police Department receives hundreds of calls involving serious incidents, accidents, and acts of violence. The officers who respond to these calls may encounter children who are in a state of shock, are in pain, or are distraught. This is where "Operation Ted E. Bear" comes in. This new MBPD project will allow police officers to provide extra care and comfort to a child by putting a cuddly teddy bear in their arms. How can you get involved with "Operation Ted E. Bear" and show your support? Stop by our booth at #MBCiclovía, where we will be accepting teddy bear donations. 📍1100 Washington Avenue, Miami Beach, FL 33139 🗓 Sunday, January 21, 2018 ⏱ 9AM to 2PM Stuffed teddy bears must be: 🔘 Brand new with tags still attached 🔘 10 to 15 inches in length
