The MADD car got some โค at the Walk Like MADD event in Altamonte Springs yesterday. Big thanks to Officers Katie Marts, Agustin Gonzalez, and Dawn Ferrera for representing UCFPD!

#UCFAlert Update: Shortly before 6PM, UCFPD received a call that an individual threw a backpack into the Dunkin Donuts on West Plaza Dr and ran away. We made contact with the man, and he is being questioned. The contents of the backpack are not dangerous. Dunkin Donuts and West Plaza Dr are reopened. There is no threat to campus. All operations normal. #ChargeOn!

ALL CLEAR on West Plaza Drive. Resume normal activity. UPDATE: West Plaza Drive will be closed while UCFPD responds. Updates will be posted via Twitter. Students, faculty and staff will continue to receive UCF Alerts. #UCFAlert: Police activity in the area of Dunkin Donuts on West Plaza Drive. Please avoid the area.

It was our pleasure to participate in the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Florida this morning. We had a blast and can't wait for the final leg of the run on May 18 at ESPN Wide World of Sports!

Officer Jade Mast participated in the American Warriors for Autism event in Ocoee this weekend. This event partners first responders with individuals who have autism to run an obstacle course together. Thanks for making a difference in the community, Officer Mast!
