*All Clear* Campus Police received a report from the Sarasota Sheriff's Department of an armed subject near the Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport. The area was checked by law enforcement and there is no threat to the community.

January is Stalking Awareness Month. Stalking is a crime that can often go unseen for much of society. Lock Up Your Valuables… If you cannot take them home with you, it is important to remember to lock up your valuables in a secure place such as a dorm safe. Remember to lock your Bicycle! Be wary of cable locks, which are easily chopped with wire cutters. They might be enough to deter passing theft and opportunists, but they are ineffective against seasoned thieves. Always lock your bicycle! Park your bike with other bikes when you lock it up. Remember, you can register your Bicycle with Campus Police!

Campus Police collected a total of 16.3 lbs during the National Drug Take Back Day this past Saturday! Thank you for properly disposing of your expired or unused medications with us!
