Please drive safely!‬ ——— At this time (9:03am) the road remains closed but traffic is still moving by being rerouted onto Norasota Road. Officers expect the road open in about another hour. We will make sure to update social media. Thanks!‬ —— TRAFFIC ALERT: Siesta Drive is currently closed in the 800 block due to a single vehicle crash with serious injuries. Traffic is being re-routed onto Norsota Way. We’re asking you please avoid the area & find an alternate route.

‪PLEASE REMOVE YOUR VALUABLES FROM YOUR CARS 🚘😥 Right now our Officers are working at least 10 reports of smash & grab car burglaries that occurred today at Marina Jack & Bird Key Park. Valuables were stolen by criminals who broke windows & stole valuables in plain sight. PLEASE SHARE

CONGRATULATIONS! 🎉 Before the school year ended recently, School Resource Officer Perna worked to recognize Carmella Catalfino at Brookside Middle as the SRO Student of the Year! 🎉 She received an award for being an outstanding student & her commitment to our community. She also received a check for $200 from Infinity of Sarasota as a scholarship toward her next school year. Way to go, Carmella!
