Casselberry Police Department would like to thank Cub Scout Pack #237 of Altamonte Springs for stopping by the Police Department and presenting our Officers with hand drawn American flags with the following message written on them, “Dear Officer, thank you for protecting us and keeping us safe.” This is exactly why we do what we do day after day in our Community. Chief Krantz and his sons took a swing for charity while benefiting the Boys and Girls Club and the Casselberry Chamber College Scholarship Fund.

Tayler, who is 11 years old, and Caleb, who is 8 years old, from Litchfield Park, Arizona mailed “Thank You” cards to our Police Department recently and we can’t thank them enough for their support of Law Enforcement Officers and K-9 Officers throughout the country. Tayler and Caleb both want to be Police Officers when they grow up and they collect patches from different Police Departments throughout the United States. Casselberry Police Department enjoyed participating in the Casselberry Elementary School's Bike Rodeo last Saturday. Ofc. Fosselius and Ofc. Doran enjoyed navigating the obstacle course and ending the event with a bike race with the students. Come join the Casselberry Police Department at Casselberry Elementary School’s Bike Rodeo on Saturday, March 10th from 11am to 1pm at the rear of the school. Bring your bike and learn some bike safety tips and navigate some cool bike obstacle courses. Don’t forget your helmet and we’ll see you there!

The Casselberry Police Department would like to thank Jason Armstrong, who presented a plaque to Commander Michael Schaefer and Sgt. Robert Martin. The plaque was a gift to all of the members of the police department in appreciation for all of their hard work and service to the community.

Casselberry Police Department’s Student Police Academy went on an informative tour of the John E Polk Correctional Facility with Officer Fosselius. The students got to experience the intake process, explore the housing units and see the hydroponic vegetable growing area. We would like to thank Seminole County Sheriff's Office Sergeant Pastor and Deputy Straker for the tour of the facility and all the useful information they provided to our Student Police Academy.

Update on Instagram post: On 02/21/2018 the Casselberry Police Department was made aware of some concerning posts made via Instagram. The matter has been investigated and an individual was arrested last night. There will be an increase in the presence of officers at the school(s) as a precaution.

The Casselberry Police Department and Chief Krantz are grateful and humbled by the outpouring of support and love from the parishioners of the Community United Methodist Church in Casselberry. We had multiple deliveries of cupcakes, cookies, brownies, candy, chips, gum and gift bags for ALL our Officers throughout the day yesterday. There was also a handmade card with personalized messages to our Officers. We are blessed to have such strong Community Support. Thank you!
