LOST DOG - Be on the lookout for the pictured house pet that is lost after just moving to the Main Street/Toonigh area. She is friendly and answers to the name Zoey. If seen, please notify WPD or contact Ms. Nelson at (404) 310-1987.

SUSPECT WANTED FOR FEBRUARY INCIDENT AT THE HEIGHTS AT TOWNE LAKE APARTMENTS ARRESTED June 6, 2018 – Woodstock Police announce the arrest of Kenneth Otis Bethea, 29, of Atlanta; who had multiple arrest warrants following an incident that occurred in February in Woodstock. On February 1, 2018, at approximately 3:30p.m., Kenneth Otis Bethea Jr. pointed a handgun at the occupants of a vehicle at The Heights at Towne Lake Apartments. Bethea attempted to enter the vehicle prior to the victim driving away. Bethea fired a handgun into the air and smashed out the front passenger window with his handgun. Following the incident, Woodstock Police Investigators secured warrants for the arrest of Bethea and issued a BOLO for dissemination to the public and law enforcement agencies. Yesterday, June 5, 2018, following an incident in Fannin County, Fannin County Sheriff’s Office requested assistance from the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office in locating Bethea. Bethea was taken into custody and subsequently transported to the Cherokee County Adult Detention. He is charged with: Aggravated Assault, Criminal Damage to Property, Possession of a Firearm during certain crimes, Carrying a Concealed Weapon, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Attempted Hijacking a Motor Vehicle.
