UPDATE: Atlanta Police Chief Erika Shields is pleased to announce that Homicide investigators have ascertained probable cause to secure arrest warrants for a second suspect in the November 19, 2017 murder of Chelsea Beller, a manager at the Barcelona Wine Bar in northwest Atlanta. Detectives issued warrants for 20-year-old Carlous Bailey for his involvement in the Barcelona Wine Bar case. Mr. Bailey is charged with Murder and Armed Robbery and is currently in Dekalb County jail on unrelated charges. The investigation into the murder continues, with other suspects remaining to be identified. Crime Stoppers Greater Atlanta has once again raised the reward by $2,000. The reward for information leading to the arrest and indictment of the remaining suspect now stands at up to $40,000. Anonymous tips can be provided by calling 404-577-TIPS (8477). Video here:

FYI: The 2018 King Holiday Observance will mark the 89th birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., the 50th annual King Center Program and the 32nd anniversary of the National Holiday in Dr. King’s honor. The MLK Jr. March Committee Organization will have a march downtown on Monday, January 15, 2018 to commemorate the anniversary of the march to Washington. The event is secured by the Atlanta Police Department. The march will travel south on Peachtree St. and east on Auburn Ave. Road closures are to be expected between 11:45 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. in the area. #MLKDay #WeLoveATL #TrafficAlert

SEEKING SUSPECT: APD needs the public's help to identify the suspect involved in a home invasion/carjacking incident on Dec. 29, 2017 along the 1700 block of Friar Tuck Rd. The suspect allegedly brandished a knife and forced his way into a 91-year-old woman's home. Money and the victim's 2008 Cadilliac DTS were stolen, the car was later located along the 1500 block of Peachtree St. NE. The suspect is described as a man, approximately 5'10 in height and 150 pounds wearing green pants, a blue vest and a red bandana over his face. Video here:
