The white male suspect (suspect) committed a Hit and Run at Motorheads Bar and Grill located at 650 Macon Street McDonough, GA. The suspect driver was driving a white in color pickup truck. The McDonough Police Department would like to congratulate Ricky Jewell on his promotion to Lieutenant. Lt. Jewell has been with the McDonough Police Department for over 13 years. He was promoted to Sergeant in 2014 and has been dedicated to his responsibilities. We are honored to have Lt. On April 30, at the Henry County Public Library, 1001 Florence McGarity Blvd, McDonough, Georgia, the female shown in the surveillance images distracted a patron while another male stole the victim’s debit card. The female then went to CVS and Walgreens where she made fraudulent purchases. The suspects pictured in the surveillance images were involved in an illegal scam at the McDonough Walmart. They left the store in a newer style Chrysler 300. Anyone identifying the suspects is urged to contact Detective J. Cooper.

On Thursday, 04/19/18, at about 1935 hrs. the suspect/suspect vehicle (pictured) did commit a Hit and Run at Wal-Mart located at 135 S. Willow Lane McDonough, Henry County, GA 30253. On March 29, 2018, at approximately 1018 PM, at the McDonough Kroger, 301 Jonesboro Rd, McDonough, Ga, 30253, the male pictured in the surveillance images purchased Amazon cards with a cloned debit card. WEEKEND TRAFFIC ALERT The Georgia DOT has announced lane closures on I-75 for sound wall work this weekend. The closure will occur on I-75 Northbound between SR 20/81 (exit 218) and Jonesboro Rd (exit 221). The closure will last from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Saturday, April 14, and Sunday, April 15. The subject captured on surveillance entered several unsecured vehicles on Labrea Boulevard & Compton Lane inside the Overlook Subdivision off Bridges Road in McDonough, GA. Anyone identifying the suspect is urged to contact Detective L. Smallwood with the City of McDonough Police Department.

Angel Hester (age 15) ran away from a residence in McDonough, GA. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Angel is asked to contact Detective L. Smallwood with the McDonough Police Department.

On March 14, 2018, at approximately 12:57 PM, at Synovus bank, 285 Jonesboro Rd, McDonough, Georgia, the white male seen in the surveillance images, in a white newer model Hyundai did present a forged check, drawn against a customer’s account. The male then went to the Synovus branch in Conyers, Georgia, and again presented a fraudulent check. Anyone with information on the identification of the male is asked to call Detective Fellows with the McDonough Police Department. 470-878-1092

Between August 1, 5 and September 8, 2017, the pictured individuals, obtained identifying information, the checking account number of Legacy Ford, 413 Industrial Blvd, McDonough, Georgia, which did assist in accessing the financial resources of Legacy Ford, a violation of O.C.G.A. 16-9-121. Anyone with information on the identification of the female is asked to call Detective Fellows with the McDonough Police Department. 470-878-1092

This female suspect used a stolen credit card, taken from an entering auto at Heritage Park, to make unauthorized transactions at Publix and Walgreens in McDonough. If you recognize the female please contact Detective L. Smallwood with the city of McDonough Police Department.

On March 15, 2018, in the Hamilton Springs subdivision, within the city limits of McDonough, Georgia, the victim had his outgoing bill payments stolen out of his mail box. Shortly thereafter, the male pictured in the surveillance image went to the Delta Community Credit Union in Decatur, Ga and cashed the stolen check. The male has a tattoo on his right hand that reads in part “One That _ _ eds (Leads)”. The male pictured in the surveillance images wearing all black with unique red shoes entered the parking lot of the Bellamy Strickland car dealership located at 145 Industrial Blvd, McDonough, Georgia, where he stole a 2018 white GMC Yukon. Anyone identifying the suspect is asked to contact Detective Smallwood.

A newer model tan or silver Ford F-150 was involved in a Theft at Cracker Barrel located at 1124 Hwy 20 W, McDonough, GA. The male in the lime green or bright yellow t-shirt removed two (2) chain saws out of the victim’s truck while the other male wearing the red hat poses as a lookout. Anyone identifying the suspects is asked to contact Detective Smallwood.

On February 15, 2018, around 4:00 P.M., at Synovus Bank, 285 Jonesboro Rd, McDonough, Georgia, the female pictured in the surveiallance image attempted to pass a fradulent check using a driver’s license stolen in LaGrange, Ga. She was last seen driving a red in color Hyundai Sonata with a partial tag of BZY. A white in color Kia Forte, Ga Tag CHG1983, was also involved in this incident. As of this time the occupants have not been identified. On February 8, 2018, at approximately 2:30pm , the two individuals pictured in the surveillance image deposited multiple fraudulant checks into the victim’s account. The suspects then fraudulantly withdrew funds from the account.
