Tonight is the last shift for Corporal Ed Adams (pictured center). After 23 years of service in the United States Army followed by 17 years with CPD, Corporal Adams is finally hanging up his duty belt and retiring. We wish him well and thank him for 40 years of combined service to his country and community. This is what heroes are made of! Congratulations Cpl Adams!!!

The 2018 CPD Citizen's Academy will begin January 25th and run through March 22nd. Classes will be held every Thursday night for 10 weeks from 6:30-9:00 pm in the community room at CPD. This is a great opportunity for members of our community to get a first hand look at what police officers do. If you are interested in attending, contact Lt. Seevers at 208-455-4548. The class is free and you must be at least 18 years of age and a Caldwell resident or business owner to attend.

The Caldwell Police Department's annual awards banquet was held last night at Jewett Auditorium followed by dinner for our officers and their families.
