SAVE YOUR POP TOPS McCook PD is participating in the Kelli Joy O'Laughlin Cup to see who can collect the most pop tops. Kelli Joy was only 14 years old when her life was taken in a senseless act of violence in 2014 in her home in Indian Head Park. The memorial foundation established in her memory is collecting pop tops which will then be given to the Ronald McDonald House Charities. We are collecting them until October 1st. If you want to participate, start collecting your pop tops and please contact Officer Russ DeLude or Chief Mario DePasquale to make arrangements for pickup. #kellijoy #poptops #ronaldmcdonaldhouse

We wanted to thank everyone for making our fundraiser a success once again this year. Together we raised approximately $8000 for Special Olympics Illinois. We couldn't do it without the help of all of our volunteers, friends, and supporters. A special thank you to WrigleyView Rooftops for the venue and the Countryside Police Department who became a partner in this event. However, the biggest thank you goes out to the Special Olympic athletes and their families. You are an inspiration to us all and you are the reason that we will do our very best to support Special Olympics in every way that we can. Thank you! #mccookpolicecubsrooftop #specialolympicsillinois #countrysidepolicepartnership Send your event pics to Officer Russ DeLude so we can post them here.

Are these yours?
