Reminder on a few Village ordinances relating to winter weather; No on-street parking after a 2 inch snow fall until street is plowed- ALL VILLAGE STREETS. Do not shovel or blow snow onto the street. Snow that falls on your property stays on your property. Do not plow your snow to your neighbor's property. Let's be helpful and respectful to your neighbors along with the Village crew that will undoubtedly be plowing around the clock once the storm ramps up.

A heads-up for residents with work trucks parked in your driveway over night. Monday night into Tuesday 2 utitity trucks were burglarized, 1 on Centennial and the other on Panama. Law Enforcement Appreciation Day January 9, 2018 National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day was founded in 2015 to thank officers across the country for all their daily efforts to make the communities they serve a safer place to live, work and play. Law Enforcement Officers of every rank and file have chosen a profession that puts their life on the line every day for their communities. They’ve answered a call to public service that is demanding and often with personal sacrifice. The men and women at the Hampshire Police Department recognize without the support of the community we would not be successful and for that I say, thank you! Brian C. Thompson Chief of Police

Residents along Panama and High Ave. with damaged mailboxes are urged to call our dispatch to make a report. This does not appear to be a village owned snowplow issue as they report immediately to their supervisor. To make a report, report a crime or to see an officer call the dispatch center @ 630-232-8400 or 911.
