We heard a rumor it's supposed to snow tonight...?! 🤔☃️❄️ For those needing to travel during the inclement weather, please do so safely! Also, as a friendly reminder, please do not park your vehicles on the street during the snowfall! Village ordinance states no street parking within 12 hours of any snowfall of 2+ inches, or until the snow is cleared. Your cooperation with this is greatly appreciated and helps the streets get cleared of snow in a timely matter! PS - Due to the forecasted snow, no overnight parkers will be approved for tonight. Stay safe out there everyone!

You may have noticed some Round Lake Officers looking a little scruffy this month. And you may have noticed some others with pink undershirts. Well, here's why! All officers were given the opportunity to donate money to a cancer charity. In return, the policy was waived for males to grow a beard and females to have colored nail polish along with the pink undershirts! And we can't forget about the Pink Patch Project which we continue to be a part of! #police #pinkpatchproject #roundlake #roundlakepd #movember #noshavenovember #cancersucks #cancerawareness

Ask yourself these questions: Is your car unlocked? Did you leave your keys in the car? Did you leave your wallet or purse in the car? If you answered yes to any of these questions, you could be a victim of a Car Burglary. Round Lake Police Department has been receiving a high number of car burglary police reports, when the victim leaves their car unlocked. Do not be a victim! Lock up! Lock up! Lock up! Bring in wallets, purses and other items into house. With holidays right around the corner, do not leave gifts in the car. Park safely in garage or well-lit driveway. See suspicious activity, call 911.
