These are the most common ways we hear about people sending money to scammers.

Please plan ahead tonight. Use a designated driver, take a taxi, or stay where you’re at until you’re sober. The last thing we want to do is start off our 2018 investigating a DUI, especially involving a crash where someone is hurt or killed. And the last place you want to start off your 2018 is in jail. Have a happy and safe New Year’s Eve!

From everyone at LPD, we wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! We hope your day is joyous and filled with love.

The Lawrenceburg Police Department was blessed by a “Secret Santa” this holiday season which allowed us to distribute some toys to local families. A little added holiday cheer. From our Department, MERRY CHRISTMAS 🎄🎁

As we prepare for the combination of one of the busiest times of the year on the roadways and the possibility of snowfall, we want to remind you to drive safely. Allow extra time to get to where you need to go as well as extra space between vehicles to allow additional stopping room if the roadways become wet, snow covered, or icy.

One of the most rewarding days of the season and even of the year is the day we get to participate in the COPS and KIDS program. These are just a few of LPD’s volunteers, including Officers, and Officers’ family members that were on hand to help out. There were even more on hand to help out over 250 local kids that didn’t make the picture. We’re so proud of all the Officers, family, friends and community volunteers that help pull this event off every year.

Wanting to let the public know that we appreciate all the calls on the Ludlow Hill Market theft. We have identified the suspects and the case is done. Thank you for all of your help.
