Lawrenceburg Police Department News

We are investigating a property damage accident that occurred this morning, October 31st, at approximately 7:50 am at Euphemia and George St. The driver of the vehicle that caused the crash left the scene before he could be identified. The suspect vehicle is described as an older red Ford Mustang being driven by a white male possibly in his 30's. When the car left the scene it had front end damage, and it appeared as though front the bumper was falling off. The Mustang was observed leaving the Lawrenceburg High School parking lot at approximately 7:45 am this morning just prior to the crash. If you have any information that may lead to identifying the owner or vehicle, please contact Lawrenceburg PD Captain Brian Miller at 812-537-2284.

Got a visit at the Lawrenceburg Police Department today from Cookies for a Cop and Fire friends. Last year this organization reached out to over 700+ departments showing a kind gesture to the first responders and public safety. Canine Officer Jacob Jump showed them around the Lawrenceburg Police Department and introduced them to his K-9 Abram. We appreciate the visit and what they are doing to support us nationwide!
