Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends of Boone County Deputy Jacob Pickett, who gave the ultimate sacrifice today, while serving a community so close to us. Thank you Deputy Pickett for your service! RIP hero for we have it from here!

Beginning Monday, 02-19-18, Tudor Rd. over Mud Creek (west of CR300W) will be closed for bridge replacement. The closure is expected to last 140-days. Please be sure to seek an alternate route.

The Stilesville Police Department mourns the loss of David Gunn Sr. Gunn devoted his life to public service in many capacities and we are grateful for that. Many of you may remember him serving with the Stilesville Police Department from 1990-1993 and for the Coatesville Police Department from 1992-2009. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Gunn family during this difficult time. Thank you sir for your service!

US 40 Fifteen minute Closures scheduled in Hendricks County Tomorrow HENDRICKS COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announce U.S. 40 traffic will be stopped for approximately15 minutes tomorrow on Tuesday, February 6 beginning after 8 a.m. Hendricks Power will be stringing new power lines across U.S. 40 between County Road 200 and 350 West. There will be numerous times traffic will be stopped for the operation. Motorists are encouraged to seek an alternate route. INDOT reminds motorists to follow the posted work zone speed limit, use caution and consider worker safety when traveling through a construction zone.

Amo Fire Assistant Chief Ryan Reach lost his battle to cancer while surrounded by family and friends. Rest In Peace Ryan, your job here is done and we will take it from here! On May 9th, weather permitting, the intersection of SR75 and SR240 will become an all-way stop. Please be sure to pay close attention and drive safely!
