Now that school is out for the summer, just a reminder of what Indiana State law on curfew is: -Curfew for minors is all year long -It is unlawful for a child under 15 yrs of age to be in a public place between 11PM and 5AM on any day of week -It is unlawful for a child 15,16, or 17 years of age to be in a public place after 11PM Sunday through Thursday. And after 1AM on the weekends. Exceptions: *Minors going/returning/participating in -lawful employment -a school sanctioned activity -a religious event -an emergency involving the protection of a person/property from imminent threat of serious bodily injury or substantial damage -an activity involving the exercise of the child’s rights protected under the First Amendment, such as freedom of speech and right of assembly -an activity conducted by a nonprofit or governmental entity that provides recreation,education, training, or other care under supervision of one or more adults If you have any questions or concerns about curfew, contact the police department at 765-754-8833.

Impact, hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
