Come down to the Chautauqua County Heritage Festival today and grab a Kidstar Emergency Information Card for your children. A great resource for parents to have around in case of an emergency. Either we can conduct the fingerprinting portion or you can do it at home with the supplied ink.

On the evening of October 31st, Chautauqua Street, between Main and Cherokee will be closed to through traffic for "Trunk or Treat." Those who plan to participate in the handing out of treats will be allowed to bypass barricades to park. We do ask that you're are parked by 6pm as no traffic will be allowed through during the event.

We are requesting the assistance of anyone who rents, or knows someone who rents a property from Copeland Rental's. The Sedan Police Department, along with the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Department, is investigating the theft of rent monies paid by tenants to agents representing the Copeland company. If you paid rent prior to 10/06/17 on a Copeland property for the month of October, and/or any advance payments of rent for consecutive months, please stop by the Sheriff's office at 218 N. Montgomery so that we may make a photocopy of the receipt. If you're unable to make it by, please contact Officer Richardson or Deputy Osburn by calling 620-725-3108.
