More about Shawnee's Good Samaritan hero!

Joshua Owen was presented the prestigious Carnegie Medal by Mayor Michelle Distler tonight at the Shawnee Council meeting. He is one of the Good Samaritans from the Walmart shooting incident which occurred on September 11, 2016. It is an honor befitting his heroism! Learn more about the award here

We are seeing an increase in vehicle thefts the last few weeks. Several of the stolen vehicles were left running & unattended or had the keys left in them overnight. Please don't make things easy for a criminal! Safeguard your property by locking your vehicles, don't leave them unattended while running even for a minute and take the keys with you. Call 911 immediately to report suspicious persons or vehicles. Don't be the next victim!
